All Aboard the Cole Train!

No campaign can be successful without the help of many enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. People of all backgrounds and abilities are welcome at the Cole Campaign. Getting involved in Laketa's campaign means becoming part of our family of volunteers, which we have affectionately dubbed the Cole Train Team. If you would like to get a better idea of what each volunteer activity entails, sign up for one of our volunteer training sessions. Training is required for certain campaign activities, and is recommended for all of them. If you believe in Laketa's message and share her passion for our great city, we encourage you get on board the Cole Train by volunteering for one of the following activities:

Canvassing
Spread Laketa's message one household at a time by walking in your neighborhood or other areas around the city. Also, help collect petition signatures to get Laketa back on the November 2005 ballot.

Fundraising
Host a meet and greet for Laketa, or simply make calls to your friends or other like-minded people who you think share Laketa's vision for Cincinnati.

Phone Banking
Make phone calls for Laketa at our campaign headquarters or from the comfort of your own home.

Working at Campaign Head Quarters
Help us answer phones and get Laketa's message out the old fashioned way - through post office mailings. Also, help with data entry to assist in tracking of yard sign locations and lit drop and canvassing activities.

Lit Drops
Help us get Laketa's message out by distributing door hangers.

Yard Signs
Put up a Cole for Council yard sign in your yard, or get your neighbors to display a yard sign if you already have one.

Media Tracking
Listen to local talk radio and read local news publications to make sure our campaign is aware of both favorable and unfavorable media coverage of Laketa. Help write letters to the editor or call into radio talk shows to support Laketa.
